Samsung Galaxy Ring prices in South Africa revealed

Cellucity will stock the Samsung Galaxy Ring, boasting a durable titanium design and extensive health-tracking features, from late March 2025 at R7,999.
This is according to Cellucity head of marketing Gavin Geldenhuys, who told MyBroadband that the ring will also be available as an existing contract add-on for R199 per month.
He said the Galaxy Ring would launch on Cellucity’s platforms towards the end of March, and it will offer a variety of sizes.
Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Ring in October 2024.
According to the company, the smart ring features Samsung’s proven sensor technology to provide wearers with easy-to-understand insights.
“Designed for 24/7 health monitoring, Galaxy Ring is lightweight, weighing from 2.3 grams to 3.0 grams, ensuring comfort during extended wear,” it said.
“With 10ATM water resistance and Titanium Grade 5 finish, you can confidently wear Galaxy Ring anywhere without worry.”
Regarding battery life, Samsung says the wearable will last up to seven days with continuous usage and a specially designed charging case.
All insights from and data collected by the wearable seamlessly integrate with Samsung Health for access on a single platform.
“Starting with sleep, the foundation of wellness, Galaxy Ring features Samsung’s extensive sleep analysis and a powerful sleep AI algorithm to help you easily understand your sleep patterns and build better habits,” said Samsung.
The feature will provide insights such as a sleep score and snoring analysis and new metrics like movement during sleep, sleep latency, and heart and respiratory rate.
Samsung Galaxy Ring buyers will also benefit from the Galaxy AI-powered Energy Score feature, which the company says will enhance wearer awareness of how their health influences their daily lives.
The ring also supports various other Galaxy wearable features, including:
- Heart Rate Alerts to keep wearers informed about their heart health
- Live heart rate monitoring
- Auto workout detection
- Inactive alert notifications to provide wearers with daily fitness reminders
“In addition, you can easily take photos or dismiss your alarm on compatible Galaxy smartphones with a double pinch via Gestures and find the location where your Galaxy Ring was last connected to your Galaxy Smartphone with Find My Ring,” said Samsung.
